GE To Make BILLIONS From Obama Cap and Trade Scheme

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Breaking: O’Reilly reports that General Electric in the position to make billions from Obama’s Cap and Trade scheme and is lobbying heavily for it’s passage. Not only are they the largest wind turbine generator maker, they are going to profit heavily from the “cap and trade” credits as possibly the sole “secoindary market’ trader of these credits. Now do you understand the main stream NBC, MSNBC, CNBC fully supporting the Obama agenda, and the hate-filled, anti-conservative spew from their networks.

On tonights “The Factor”, O’Reilly reported that GE is embroiled in what perhaps could be the largest scandal in the history of this nation. Currently, GE and CEO Jeffery Immelt have spend millions in lobbying efforts to assure the passage of this dasturdly “cap and trade” proposal. And, as evidenced from the Shareholders meeting in Orlando, Immelt wasn’t in the mood for the boo’s and the questions that exposed the media bias from NBC and MSNBC (and CNBC) and their total shift from objective reporting to nothing but pure bias toward the Obama administration and their “cap and trade” scheme.

Then Janeine Garafalo did her “hit shtick” on Olberman’s show earlier in the week, it was obvious that his entire lack of response to her diatribe was in full support of GE corporate policy and Olberman was being the compliant little prick he is and following the company line. It is OBVIOUS as the nose on anyone’s face that the NBC networks, that includes MSNBC and CNBC are totally pro-Obama agenda driven, and are using the bully pulpit to promote his legislative proposals. In the back of my mind, I knew deep down that General Electric, as owner of the NBC network,  was fully supporting Obama, was instrumental in his election, and had something to gain. However, I never quiet made the connection as reported tonight.

Under the Obama plan, the “cap and trade” credits will be issued to all producers of energy. GE is the largest manufacturer of wind turbines as well as other electical generation turbines used in coal, gas, atomic, and hydroelectic electricity generation facilities. With the Obama plan, those cap and trade credits would be issued by the Federal Government, and ultimately, traded just like any stock or bond. GE has apparently, created and entire unit with the Corporation that would deal in the Secondary Market trading these credits. First, they are going to take in billions of dollars from government contracts in wind energy. Second, they perhaps are going to have exclusive control over the secondary market for these cap and trade credits. That, in effect, puts GE in the catbirds seat for all energy produced in this nation as ALL “carbon emission” energy sourced are going to be subject to these carbon schemes. This includes ANY oil related, natural gas related, gasoline, diesel, and any other manufacturer that uses any petro-based  component. That means every single plastic container, every car, every chemical fertilizer, every pesticide, every single thing you use will be subject to this scheme as it too, is made from a carbon based material.

Also reporting on this is Amy Ridenour on her National Center Blog. A brief section of her post is as follows:

It’s no wonder GE is defensive, however. As Tom’s pointed questions, and Bill O’Reilly’s comments tonight on the Glenn Beck TV show (“We’re in an area right now that makes Watergate look like a Shirley Temple movie.”) illustrate, the best that can be said about General Electric is that it is hip deep in conflict of interest. It’s running TV networks that prop up liberalism, the global warming issue and Obama, while privately lobbying hard for cap-and-trade, from which it intends to profit heavily.

There can be no doubt that GE is up to it’s neck in this scandal. It is further evidence that WE THE PEOPLE of this nation are going to have to quit sitting still and allowing this huge, overblown government from dealing with GE for any contracts awarded to them for anything. Face some realities- GE is one of the governments largest contractors and they are going to get billions and billions more under the Obama plans should they become law. This, with no words minced, is an OUTRAGE to the foundation of this nations Constitutional government. Additionally, GE employees contributed to Obama’s campaign, close to $98,000 while NBC employees contributed close to $194,000. (For reference, the McCain camp only received donations close to $55,000 from GE/NBC employees according to OpenSecrets.org) They heavily invested in his election and the desire for his climate change initiatives to become law for a very selfish reason- massive profits.

There can be no doubt that the very reason NBC, MSNBC, and the MSM is fully supporting the “settled science” on climate change is GE profit driven. They stand to make BILLIONS from the promotion of the scam on the American people and the world. It is also no wonder that they fail to report the empirical data studies that are refuting the idea that CO2 is the evil climate change culprit. It is no wonder that GE is spending the millions in lobbying efforts for support of the legislation that makes CO2 an evil thing that only they can resolve. This collusion of GE and the United States government is heading down the road as the largest scandal in American history. If you aren’t outraged now, then please, find another Socialist nation to live in. I don’t plan to go down without a fight.

Now, more than ever, your help is needed. In the upper right navigation bar is a link to a Petition for Redress of Grievances. Now is the time to sign it, and to support this grassroots effort to let Congress know that we are not happy with this massive expansion of government and that “WE THE PEOPLE” are going to take back our nation from the GE’s and the scandalous lobbying for government deals gone out of control. Unless you do something, then nothing is going to happen. Your voice matters and it’s not necessarily at the ballot box either. Our founders understood that and gave  us that right in our Bill of Rights. Don’t sit on the side lines and let this nation be over-ran by the Socialist/Statists/Fascists in power. It’s time to take action now since to do otherwise is going to cost you, your family, and your kids and grandchildren for the rest of their lives.

I wonder, since it appears that Al Gore is going to be cut out of this deal, will he NOW release new information that reports “global cooling” is NOW the greatest threat to the world? I imagine that he will very soon. Money talks in Washington as the American people are getting the screwing they elected in November. Now, once again, I told you so.

The Day After the Tea Party- It’s Obvious the Socialists/Liberals Didn’t “Get It”. What’s Next?

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

With the Main Stream Media, Pelosi, and others calling the Tax Day Tea Party nothing but “astroturf” as a grassroots movement. It is almost a comedy of farce watching as they once again pull out the Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” in their attempts to discredit main street Americans.

After reading the comments from Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, one would at first, become quite angry. But let’s first look at exactly what her commentary on the Tax Day Tea Parties held all over the nation yesterday:

What we want is a new direction. In fact, in the President’s initiative – in the Recovery and in the Budget – 95% of the American people get a tax cut. This is a tax cut for the great middle class. This initiative is funded by the high end – we call call it astroturf, it’s not really a grassroots movement. It’s astroturf by some of the wealthiest people in America to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich instead of for the great middle class.

Now, I am totally amused at this statement, because of the simple fact, Speaker Pelosi was nowhere to be seen at any of the protests yesterday. Not a single visit, not a single person was heard, and not a clue what this protest represented. Perhaps we, as Americans, should explain to her that these protests represented the outpouring of anger at the entire arrogance and lack of listening to what the American people are telling our Representatives. It was the idea that we WANT individual liberty and not government solutions to every issue. We desire the ability and the FREEDOM to make decisions that are best for ourselves and our families without the government forcing one down our throats. Additionally, we understand that the government spending levels, without regard to the effect it will have on the future viability and strength of this nation as a whole, as this mounting DEBT is going to have to be repaid or this nation faces real economic collapse that might not be recoverable. This is a burden we do not care to carry nor to pass to our heirs to carry even farther. Those who gathered in towns and cities all across this nation with numbers from a few here to huge numbers in other places took a stand against the continued lack of regard for the role the Constitution of this nation plays, and is being ignored and usurped, that limits the powers of Congress and the Administration.

Then we have the statement issued by Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) that even further explains that no effort was made to attempt to understand the ideas presented at these Tax Day Tea Party assemblies:

“The ‘tea parties’ being held today by groups of right-wing activists, and fueled by FOX News Channel, are an effort to mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates 3.5 million jobs.”

“It’s despicable that right-wing Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant, honorable moment of American history with a shameful political stunt,”

“Not a single American household or business will be taxed at a higher rate this year. Made to look like a grassroots uprising, this is an Obama bashing party promoted by corporate interests, as well as Republican lobbyists and politicians.”

So it is painfully obvious that she really believes that sitting in her office in Washington, with her elitist “I know what is best for you” ideology, that issuing a statement such as that in some way addresses the issues that Americans, yesterday, expressed so eloquently. We, as those in attendance yesterday understand, that these “tax cuts” are going to inevitably lead to higher taxes, massive double digits inflation as the printing presses are rolling to fund the “stimulus”, the Omnibus budget addition, and the trillions of dollars used in the TARP “bailouts”. Now, Ms. Pelosi and Ms. Schakowsky, can you HONESTLY say, you heard what WE THE PEOPLE were saying yesterday? or are your words once again, directly from Alinsky’s “Rules for Radical” to polarize, destroy, and discount the grassroots movement that started yesterday? I don’t think anyone has to read a single thing in analyzing your statements to understand that your vision of yourself is that of Elitism, and that we are totally “beneath your intellect”.

So what is next?

Honestly, I hope that the President, the Speaker of the House, and all those Elitist Socialist/Liberals continue their discounting and bashing of the Tea Party Movement. More and more Americans, even those who supported the promised “hope and change”, are going to wake up to the simple fact that Washington isn’t listening to what we are saying. The beauty of a Republican form of government (for you Liberals, that isn’t a reference to the “party” of Republicans, but since you’re lacking education in terminology, we have a REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC, not a Democracy) is that we the PEOPLE decide who we want to represent our voices in our government.

We want people who understand what we desire, and that being LESS government, not more. We desire that the principles of Constitutional government be restored back to the people of this nation as it was laid out originally. We no longer desire the massive government spending of money we do not have, the borrowing and printing of money that is taking this nation further into debt and one we may never recover from, and the SOCIALISM that we are being lead to believe is the greatest thing since sliced bread. We are tired of being looked at as “radical extremists” by our Department of Homeland Security because we hold views in opposition to the party in power and are being targeted for “watching” by law enforcement.  We do not want your “cap and trade” schemes for controlling “climate change”, that has no foundation in observational science, that is nothing more than an indirect tax that will result in higher energy prices at a time this nation can least afford it.

We are not interested in a government controlled, bureaucracy controlled healthcare system that has failed everywhere it has been tried. We are not interested in your expansion of programs relating to welfare and tax rebates to those who have not contributed to the overall cost of government when they are perfectly capable of becoming productive citizens. We are not interested in your false promises of lower taxes as you continue to expand the spending of government that anyone with a modicum of common sense understands is not sustainable  without higher taxes. We are not interested in your expansion of the national debt, the budgetary deficits, and the spending for things we are not desiring, but only being used to buy another vote at taxpayers expense.

As a movement, we need to focus on these issues and discovering the “gems” we will find to elect to the offices in our local, state, and national governments. We need to let these Liberals/Socialists galvanize our efforts and tell others about what we are doing and encourage others to attend the events being planned on July4th, 2009 and beyond. We need to show that the time has come to an end for those in office that refuse to listen and continue to view this as an “astroturf” movement that has no roots in true American belief. It is time to prove to these closed minded elitists that this nation belongs to us, and that their visions of this nation are in direct conflict with the people of this nation.

America, the New American Revolution has begun as it began in 1773 with the Boston Tea Party. My plan is to keep this going to the point where our government either listens, is defeated in the 2010 election, or history repeats itself. I pray that the latter is the last resort for this nation. Tyranny takes shape in many forms and our founders warned of it long ago as this nation became the grand experiment in Representative Republicanism. We were admonished to take care of our nation and to take our revolt public when tyranny began depriving the rights of the individual man. Tyranny is right before our very eyes today and only one who fails to think for themselves can’t see it.

Yesterday, I saw many people who had their eyes opened and those little light bulbs inside their heads go off in unison. I saw real, honest, hardworking Americans take a stand. I also saw these same people, many who have never been considered “activist” ever before in their life, stand proud and no longer in fear as they found a belief in this nation once again. I saw people cheer as speaker after speaker expressed their vision for the future of this nation and that WE THE PEOPLE are in charge, not our government officials.

I also see those in power, where reality probably hasn’t sat in just yet, discount what we did yesterday to the point where “we” are nothing but ignorant, misinformed, and literally stupid in expressing our desires. What I see from Washington is once again, utter contempt for the people of this nation unless “we” are on board with their visions. I see a main stream media that is using their influence to make this movement and their venue as a platform for sexual innuendos and tasteless, derogatory humor meant only to disenfranchise and discredit us further to those who will listen.

Boy, are they in for a rude awakening.

Tax Day Tea Party, Jacksonville, Fl.- Today Was Just the Beginning!

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009
Jacksonville, Fl Tax Day Tea Party

Jacksonville, Fl Tax Day Tea Party

With over 3000+ in attendance, the Jacksonville, Fl. “Tax Day Tea Party” was a resounding success. These Americans, many who used their lunch break to attend, saw the beginning of the movement to “Take Back America” from the elites in Washington. The theme that ran throughout the entire event was the “WE THE PEOPLE” are tired of not being listened to, eliminate big government, and stop the spending. The Jacksonville Landing was filled to near capacity as the entire fountain bowl, the steps and the balcony was shoulder to shoulder people with signs created from their hearts and their displeasure with the massive government spending and ultimate taxation that we ill can afford.

The event lasted approximately 2 hours and ordinary people from diverse walks of life offered their views and opinions from a variety of issues from smaller government and the use of “global warming science” to promote more taxes on this nation. The crowd was orderly, and yet vocal as each and every person there were involved in the entire event.

Few, if any, were opposed to the presentations or the motives behind this event as the anticipation of those in attendance was of disgust and anger at the failure of our government to hear what we say and to legislate accordingly.

Our Youth Understand the Problems

Our Youth Understand the Problems

Without a doubt, the main steam media is going to discount this as nothing but rheoric that will all too soon fade in to oblivion. I find that this will be just the beginning of more and even larger grass roots efforts to place this nation back into the hands of the People of this nation and a turning back the clock to a time of smaller government, less regulatory government, and a government in which the values and rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are not just words, but those words of meaning to the individuals of this nation. I had hoped for this type of turnout and it far exceeded my expectations. Those I spoke with were in agreement that this nation is heading down a path that will lead to the destruction of the United States of America, the State we live in, and the community we call home.

Our founders vision for America was one where the free expression of displeasure with our government was so important that the First and Second amendments were enacted as a Bill of Rights. Americans today, expressed freely those rights and did so with enthusiasm. These are not Republicans or Democrats or Independents. These are Americans who love this nation and fear for it’s survival. They understand that the path to Socialism isn’t going to solve this nations problems, but the free market, free enterprise solutions with less government interference will be the salvation of this country. No doubts can be garnered from the events in Jacksonville, Fl. today.

I also believe this is the movement that this nation needs to return to the Constitutional government as Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, Washington, Adams, and countless others shaped into a nation that has been called the “grand experiment” into a Republican form of democratic government. No movement will succeed without the support of the common, ordinary American. Today, I witnessed Americans who have no fear of retribution, no disguising their feelings, and no whims about what they did or experienced today. If I were a politician in Washington today and chose not to listen to the gatherings of people, then I would be very afraid of the election coming in 2010. I see a movement to remove far more from office, the election of common sense, ordinary people to lead our nation, and the revision of the direction we are going to be heading. Once again, the calls for personal freedom and personal responsibility will be the calling card of this nation. The cleansing of those who believe that power is the goal of being an elected representative are soon to discover that the object of the people is to have a voice that is heard, not discounted as “stupid” or “redneck”.

The Burden Doesn't Belong to Our Children

The Burden Doesn't Belong to Our Children

Consider this as round one of many to come. Unless our government officials are not taking this day in a serious light, then the Revolution will have just began. The groundswell will continue to build and more and more Americans take notice of what happened today and will happen again this July 4th, 2009. It’s time that the silence of the people and the continued failure to listen by our elected officials comes to a screeching halt. This day should prove to Washington that it’s time to listen and not to talk. That will determine the course this nation takes and unless we are heard, it may not be one that Washington is prepared for. It’s your country and your pocketbooks that Washington is spending from. If you fail to understand that simple fact, then you have postulated your future, your children’s future and the future of this nation to a place where no one will be able to voice their displeasure.

Will YOU take up the call and act accordingly? For America’s sake, I pray you do!

Once again, I would ask that you take action and sign the Redress of Grievances Petition. WE can take this to Congress on July 4th, 2009 at the NEXT “Tea Party” protests on that day! YOUR voice counts and YOUR signature is needed. CLICK HERE and take that next step to taking back this nation from the CLUELESS in government and return it to the PEOPLE.
