With the April 15th Tax Day Tea Party over and many clamoring for more, where does this take us for the next few months as July 4th is just around the corner. Enthusiasm doesn’t need to wane and our voices need not become silenced. Now is the time for individual leadership to step forward and become the movement we all envision.

Many of my readers attended one of the many April 15th Tea Parties. The fact is, we all came away with a feeling of enthusiasm and a feeling of empowerment, only a week later to see that nothing really changed. That, in and of itself, needs to be the motivation behind “our” desire to once again, get out the people and renew the commitment to the “Tea Party Movement” that is taking hold in this nation.

First, I think we can all agree on a few things. This “movement” sprouted from the fact that we each feel that our government has gotten out of total control on several fronts. In examining the various posts and articles from others, I have discovered that there are a few basic themes that run through each and every post:

1. Government spending and budgetary policy to increase the deficits and the national debt are not acceptable practices for our nations government. OUR government has grown beyond the capacity of its original intent as designed by our founders.
2. Our government has taken approaches to policy in areas of energy, health care, and reducing personal liberty that we do not agree with.
3. We as a nation have a tax system that punishes the success and hard work of it’s people and is in need of massive reform.
4. The taxes and costs of goods and services will increase dramatically if we continue down the destructive path our government is taking us.

Debt Would Double Under Obama Plan

I could easily add a #5, but I think that it is given that our nations elected representatives are not listening to the people and our desires to reduce the spending. Under the current path this Congress and administration is taking us, we are being told that it is the intent to “reduce the deficit” by 1/2 in the next 5 years. What we are being lead to believe is that is a good thing, when the reality is, we are going to increase the national debt by massive amounts and in such levels that the interest payments alone will consume the tax revenue taken in by the government in a few short years. We are being taken down a primrose path when we are dealt a “budget reduction of $100 million” by the administration that amounts to .028% of the entire Federal budget for this year. Somehow, I guess, that our government really thinks we are going to accept that and move on. Nothing is farther from the truth. A look at the chart from the Heritage Foundation puts the entire debt in perspective. Our national debt will be nearly the entire GDP of this nation today in 10 years. That simply means, that what we are producing today, is going to be needed to eliminate the debt and doesn’t count  the expenditures of any budget that is passed.

Our nation is at a crossroads regarding energy. Currently, many on capital hill have been lead to believe that we, the human race, are responsible for the massive fraud called “climate change” and that our “carbon emissions” of CO2 is somehow to blame. No longer is any dissenting scientific debate allowed and no longer, in the minds of politicians, is there any objections going to be condoned. No longer is this a scientific issue, but a political one and one based on very bad science. In the hearings this past Friday, former Vice President Gore, testified before the House committee drafting legislation to cap carbon emissions. His opposition, Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science adviser to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was not allowed to testify. According to reports from Climate Depot:

A GOP House source told Climate Depot that the Democrats on the Committee said “absolutely not” to allowing Monckton to appear during today’s Gore hearing. The GOP committee “pushed at multiple levels” to bring Monckton in to testify but the Democrats “refused,” according to the GOP source. Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich was called in to testify after Monckton was rejected by the committee Democrats, according to the Congressional source.

It seems very obvious that this Committee isn’t interested in hearing any views that the scientific evidence doesn’t support the politics being pushed through Congress. The costs to you, the consumer, is expected to reach nearly $2,000 a year in the price increases of groceries, fuel, electricity, and any other items you might use or purchase. Basically, this SCAM is nothing but another way of forcing you to comply with government desires and increasing the government coffers and the resulting expenditures. No longer is climate change a scientific issue, but has become the political pumpkin that is not going to bring Cinderella to the ball, nor bring about energy independence, but bring an ever increasing interference and control by government into our lives. The resulting loss of jobs and the no-replacements offered in the “green industry” hasn’t even been discussed, but it will be in the millions. Once again, another effort by government to level even more control over your life and liberty as this lie is pushed through Congress.

If you haven’t been following the health care debate, trust me, you are going to very soon. The simple fact is, that this nation stands to move toward a nationalized health care system in which government will run, fund, and provide your needs. In previous articles I have addressed the health care debate through Health Saving Accounts and elimination of the multitude of mandated coverage, provisions that would allow the purchase of health care policies across state lines, and other free market solutions. Eliminating government from the equation is vital to the survival of this nation as the budgetary costs alone will account for well over 7% of GDP of this nation to fund, as it does now. Governments only solution to eliminating the expenses is to reduce benefits, rationing, or basically, forgetting those with long term care needs in primarily our aging population. As an American citizen, I find the government solution totally unacceptable to the foundation of liberty and freedom. One only needs to look to other nations to determine that this solution is destined to be the debacle it is elsewhere it is being used.

Obviously, taxation in this nation is abhorrent to our private citizens, our businesses, and corporations. We as a nation shoulder the entire burden of governments- local, state, and federal. It is estimated that roughly 50% of middle class incomes (and I hate that term as it classifies people based on the very notions Liberals use to dictate their agenda driven policies of wealth redistribution) is needed to fund government at all levels. Our system is easily manipulated by politicians to favor a sector or group of people to repay political favors, discourages financial achievement, and punishes those who do desire to increase their financial prospects. Furthermore, it takes income from those who work and earn it, redistributes it to those who won’t or don’t, and those on the receiving end never make a single dimes worth of contribution to the very system they often live from.

There must be radical and decisive changes to our tax system. I spare no words in my support for the FairTax as it fixes the very problems with our current income taxation system. It gives us choice as to paying taxes by our spending habits, it brings everyone into the system, and eliminates the ability for politicians to manipulate the system for political favors or constituents. Needless to say, the political climate in Washington is adverse to this now, but unless we take this under advisement and actually push Congress to pass this legislation, we are going to find our current system more than burdensome, but leaving us with less and less to simply survive the very life we live today. Additionally, those “evil rich people” will no longer be able to provide the increasing amounts needed to fund the increasing numbers of people being dependent on government for an existence. The very tenets of Marxism required a progressive income tax and that in and of itself is the means to Socialism/Fascism in this nation. It will force government takeover of all business and industry to provide the means to peoples needs being fulfilled by government.  We as a nation are heading straight down that slippery slope and accelerating as we go. Now is the time to end this insanity and only a massing of people in this Tea Party movement will garner Congress to seriously pass this mandate.

These issues alone needs to be the focus of the Tea Party movement. It will take a grassroots effort to bring about the change we really need and really can believe will happen in this nation. These four issues alone should not only concern you, but galvanize you to not just appear at the next one, but become active in finding others, volunteering for organization, writing your Congressmen/women constantly, and making known that we are simply not going to sit still as America is taken down this path leading to destruction. It is even more obvious that we are not being taken seriously in Washington, by the main stream media, nor by those on the left. Appeasement isn’t going to work and our voice stating as such needs to be louder and louder.

It’s time to tell Washington, we are NOT STUPID! It’s time to bring the government of the people, by the people, and for the people back to it’s basic Constitutional roots or we as a nation face extinction. I, personally, do not care to go the way of the Dodo bird. It’s time to become even more excited and more determined to work this Tea Party movement into a force that can no longer be ignored or fought. This time, rather than dumping “tea” in the harbor in protest, it’s time to dump the politicians who refuse to listen.

Is it time to take our Grievances to Congress?? Only YOU can decide. Take a moment and read the Petition for a Redress of Grievances. When you take that simple action and sign it, you are taking a stand against bigger government, more spending, and unfair taxation. Only with your support will this be a reality. THEN tell others as the voices of a few can turn into the collective voice of many more with the same concerns. I thank you in advance for your efforts and help.

His message was simple and nearly scripted with every word. He promised a nation that he could rebuild the economy and get people back to work. He took every issue and used it to his advantage to take his party to total control of the nations government. His speaking style was eloquent and convincing and he had the majority of the people hanging on his every word and no matter the wishes of the people, his agenda was overwhelmingly approved by government leaders. He also did this with a compliant media who embellished every idea into the great things he was going to do for the nation.

If you asked a senior in high school to tell you about President Barack Obama, what would they tell you?

That he as a “leader” and will bring hope and change to America, that he is going to unify this nation, and that his plans are an “investment” in this nation. If you asked the same question about former President George Bush, no doubt the vilification is going to flow from their mouths in much the same manner as they wax eloquently about “their President” Obama. Instead of seeing the obstacles that this nation faced after Sept. 11, 2001 that our President had to overcome at home and abroad, they instead prefer to dismiss his term as the worse President we have ever had.

Instead, they will view President Obama as the next American Idol regardless if he can sing or not. HE is THE man of the hour and has THE PLAN to bring back America, no matter what ideas he presents. They fail to realize that this President has never even run a Dairy Queen, much less led anything “out of crisis” of the magnitude we are being forced to believe we are in today. Every idea he has is totally agenda driven from health care to energy along with the massive spending, deficits, and debt he is determined to create, all in the name of “solving the financial crisis” we are experiencing.

The question is, what is the agenda?

Little can be gleaned that indicates that this agenda is supposed to benefit the individual or to apply the Constitution of this nation on a personal level. It is without a doubt, that President Obama doesn’t understand that the founding documents of this nation were written to provide INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS and LIBERTIES, and not for those select few whom he so dearly cherishes because “we won”. Thomas Jefferson was so concerned about individual rights, that he insisted that the Bill of Rights be included in our Constitution before he would even get on board with his support. His concern was that government would become the tyrannical form that a war had to be fought and won to escape and knew that as long as individuals could actually rise against such tyranny that it would fail to foster in this nation. Little did he know that youth of this nation would never have the education of American History as I experienced in my younger days. Instead of education , we now have indoctrination toward a pure Socialist agenda of life, health, education, and grooming to instill this as “the American way” of life.

Our leadership has passed legislation (the PorkyPigulus Stimulus Bill) that they have never read and couldn’t pospone a vote long enough to determine exactly what it said, who was to get money, and what could be removed as the Administration had convinced the American people that our “crisis” was of such dire straits that it had to be passed immediately. We now find out that much of the bill allowed the AIG bonus payments and was done with the Administration’s full support and at their urging. We see a Congress villifying a private company who were obligated by contracts and the same Congress pass taxation legislation that is totally un-Constitutional as it targets specific people for the sole purpose of punishment for agreeing to take money contractually owed to them. Our Congress has become totally out of control, an Executive branch that is so inept and full of rhetoric that “crisis” is their buzz word today and “recovery” the word of tomorrow. The goal appears to be to keep you so angry at the private institutions that your misdirected anger is away from Government which is where is should rightfully be TOTALLY directed.

We are also having private banks, insurance companies, and manufacturers being owned by our government under the ruse that “the American people” own these companies and that Congress is the great protector of our ownership. Yet, there are few in Congress that have ever owned a business, ever ran a business, or even know how to read a balance sheet or profit and loss statement. They have nothing else to do but rake our Banks, Wall Street, and the past Administration over the coals as they seek support from private investors, banks to begin lending, and Wall Street to react positively every time Mr. President or one of his minions speak on camera. They attack opposition voices and are attempting to silence them with legislation or through various agencies that control segments of media. It is all being done with attempts to “sell” you on the idea that at this point in this nations “crisis”, it’s not the time for parsing words or listening to oppostion. It MUST be done NOW or else this nation collapses.

For those of you who really do know history, if you read my opening paragraph, you might be led to believe I was speaking about today’s issues. I have to let you in on a bit of truth and it had nothing to do with President Obama, Congress, or even our media. It was honestly describing Adolph Hitler and his rise to power in the 1930′s. He had become the “rock star” of Germany and had the backing of a National Army (initially the S.A. and Gestapo which later, in a power grab, had the heads of the S.A. killed and put under the auspices of the S.S.) who took care of anyone who wouldn’t listen by either death or concentration camps for re-education into Nazism. He began rounding up the vile and evil “rich”, directed companies and corporations to do the bidding of government, and had the infamous “Heil Hitler” as his robotic chant from the people. No doubt he was charismatic, charming, and persuasive. Yet, he managed to kill 6.5 million Jews, gypsies, and political opposition as he waged a war that cost millions of lives and left his nation in ruins. Lest you forget, the National Socialist Workers Party was nothing less than the NAZI party acronym in the German language. The children were indoctrinated in the NAZI ideals, fully backed by the youth, and had a totally obligatory press that willingly published that he could do no wrong. He managed to do this with the world in a financial turmoil and only “HE” could fix the German people’s problem. Hitler accomplished all this with ownership of the financial segment and also printed money as fast as the presses could run. He headed the military and has the full and willing support of the people during his rise to total, absolute power.

Parallels in history are seldom without merit. The same type of rise to power is happening right here in America and has the same compliant media, the same compliant Congress, and has control of the financial sector in order to complete “HIS” agenda to rebuild America. It also has the acceptance of the people who have no clue to the tea leaves that history offers into the future.

Honestly, America doesn’t need “rebuilding”. It only needs to THINK about what we are giving up and handing over to a Congress and a President that really doesn’t have any belief in liberty and freedom as our Constitution promises. He is going to “solve your problems” in housing, health care, taxes, and energy. There is no regard for those who have taken the promise of America and succeeded accordingly with hard work and ideas to achieve personal greatness and rewards. These are the “greedy rich” and have to be punished ,because they succeeded, by the very government we elected to represent our best interests and to protect our rights as individuals.

If you understand this, then may God bless you. If you fail to understand the harm or the reason that these ideas are not in the best interest of this nation, then I suggest a book for your reading: “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”. But, if you are so involved with your own self-interest and only want to know what is government is going to do for you, then I suggest you consider renouncing your citizenship and moving to a country where your self-centeredness and “whats in it for me” is the norm and fully embraced. France comes to mind.

If your rhetorical commentary is that “you hate Bush” or that “Republicans are to blame”, just remember, you ALLOWED this to happen with your vote for someone who would give you “the goodies” that were in your OWN selfish interest and not in the best interest of LIBERTY in which you had the opportunity to build your own wealth to your hearts desire. YOU gave away the farm in the belief that government would give you back two.

Never in my life have I had as much fear and trepidation as I have today. This nation has experienced great times and not so great times and each and every time, it was the INDIVIDUAL that managed to bring this nation back to it’s finest hour. Now, I wonder what the individual will actually be willing to do as more and more of this nation looks toward Washington to solve their personal problems.

Unless we as a nation come to the point of realization about what is happening around us, we are doomed to the same fate that the compliant Germans suffered in the 1930′s and 40′s. It could easily become a nation where Martial Law is declared to squash our voices of protest to a tyrannical government. Instead, we are being driven to the point where we protest people like AIG employees with death threats and marches to their homes. This is what is being churned and almost encouraged by our nations government and people, this is WRONG. This is still America and we are still free to succeed and negotiate terms to our benefit. You are seeing the danger of turning our nation over to government that has THEIR power interest in mind and NOT protecting your liberty as their primary reason to serve.

As the crowd chanted in unison: “Obama. Obama. Obama”, the nation heads over the edge of the ravine toward the same identical regime of power and control that Hitler had over the Germans. The ending wasn’t very pretty and it sure failed in it’s promises. Unless you independently studied history, you probably didn’t learn that in high school either.

In Warren County, Ohio, you can no longer say anything that makes others “feel unwelcome or uncomfortable” regarding Obama. So instead of being knowledgeable about the 1st. Amendment, the Superintendent has jack-booted all opposition discourse.

Well people, it has finally happened officially. You can no longer speak ill or express a negative opinion about our incoming President Obama- that is if you are a student, teacher, or employee of Warren County, Ohio  schools. Superintendent Kevin Bright had this to say in an e-mail sent to parents on Monday, Jan. 12th:

“Inappropriate comments that may make other students, staff or families feel unwelcome or uncomfortable in school or on the bus will not be tolerated,”

Basically, if you have an “offense portrayal” or utter “offensive words” about the newly elected President, you will be drawn and quartered to teach you a lesson that no criticism is tolerated against the Anointed One, President-elect Barrack Obama. So Superintendent Bright has decided that:

“while the election is a competitive process, our nation’s greatness is displayed when all sides come together for a united country.”

Well, Mr. Bright, I hate to tell you but there is a RIGHT to say as you wish, no matter how critical, how derogatory, or however opposing a view you may hold. It lies in the very fabric of our Constitution in the FIRST AMENDMENT. Mr. Bright, you should really read this very first Amendment and commit it to not only memory, but put it in your heart. It is the very foundation of FREEDOM and LIBERTY that you so graciously and dictatorially trampled on with your ultimatum:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

As an American, I fully understand your desires for the nation to “come together” in a manner of respect for the office of President of the United States. Part of this nations history lies in the fact that WE THE PEOPLE can disagree, argue, fight, bicker, and even shout and print whatever we desire to express our opinion about the political party we oppose. We can oppose ideas, policy, and even the people who represent those policies we don’t agree with. Those are the things that have made America great and NOT the mamby pamby total agreement on every single issue. It is the ability and RIGHT to disagree that leads to ideas and compromise that has lead to many of the right decisions for this nation.

When you attempt to squelch the oppositions viewpoints, no matter the setting, you are becoming increasingly close to allowing a totalitarian, dictatorial form of government. I not only have a right to offer a differing opinion, I believe I have a civic duty to voice as much. If my opinion is not slanderous our libelous in nature, then I have the right to say it.

Liberalism requires that the rights of the Constitution not only be depressed to the limit, but actually disregarded in order to suppress opposition views. You are seeing it in efforts to revive the “Fairness Doctrine”, efforts from schools to suppress students viewpoints, and soon, efforts to control who you hear and what you are allowed to hear. One only needs to read the MSM newspapers, listen to MSNBC, or CNN and you will all to soon understand that those “feelings running up my leg” at the mere hearing of the words of Obama are what you are supposed to experience at this magnanimous event in history.

Personally Mr. Bright, I hope that some parent or some student takes offense to your policy. So much so that your challenge to free speech ends up in court. The test of this nations freedoms has reached the point where the Liberal/Socialist views you hold not only SHOULD be challenged, but MUST be challenged for the continued ability of this nation to survive.

You see Mr. Bright, instead of trampling  arbitrarily disregarding the Constitution, you should have instead used this moment to TEACH the importance of the First Amendment and the reason for that first amendment being overwhelmingly passed by the American people. You could have used the moment to show these children, teachers, and personnel that the Constitution is a living document that is not to be disregarded so lightly, even if you have personally invested a belief in the future President. Once again, you have shown your true Liberal colors and done so with a misguided belief you are somehow “bringing people together” for a greater cause.

Granted, the inauguration of a new President and the orderly transfer of power is an important event. An even more important event is not only the PROTECTION of the First Amendment, but a promotion of its use and you, Sir, have instead determined arbitrarily to quash it’s legality. For that, Mr. Bright, you are one very “unbright” person whom I hope someday to hear you eat those words you have chosen to use to repress the rights of those you seemingly “control”.

Yes, America, you are seeing the first signs of what the “new Democrats” are all about. The party of Jefferson is now the party of Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini. Rights no longer matter. Reducing the opposition to ashes is the goal. No opposition will mean no Democracy.

And the sheeple all said in unison- “Obama….Obama….Obama”.
