Dems in Congress are not real happy with Queen Nancy. Legislation is being written in her office and Committee Chairs are having no input to language and ideas. The showdown with the White House is going to be interesting to watch as the power struggle begins.

Jared Allen, The Hill writer, has found that Democrat Committee chairmen are not real happy with Queen Nancy. It seems that legislation is originating out of her office and her office alone with no input, or “markup” ability from committees. The grumbling is beginning as reported by Allen:

“This is really set to come to a head soon,” said Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), who chairs the Energy and Commerce Oversight subcommittee. “The question is: Are we actually going to get a chance to legislate? There’s an opportunity to turn this corner, but we have not done that yet.”

One only has to speculate just a little to see that Obama will be at the beckoning call of Queen Pelosi as the power struggle for “who really controls Washington” begins. It is no secret that Pelosi has every intention of reclaiming power that she perceives that was taken from Congress over the last 8 years, and will do so at the expense of the new President Obama. Those who know Pelosi best, and as she has indicated time and time again, desires more than Speaker of the House, but desires to rule from her position of power.

Conservatives are in a position to actually use this power grab to their advantage. Politics is really a contact sport disguised as something puritanical with rules to play by and “let’s just all get along” rhetoric. Reality is far different in the fact the it can be a real bloodbath given the right circumstances. It is time to play the “minority voice” card that Democrats used so well during the Bush years and do so to their advantage. To do so will pit the more conservative and realistic voices of Democrats (the Blue dogs) against Pelosi and her minions into a Congress that will once again, get little done and nothing of substance will be the results.

Conservatives too, have an advantage in that the Democrat plans for economic recovery is doomed to failure. Trillions of dollars of newly printed money is only going to drive this nation farther and farther into debt and debt is the problem, not the solution. It’s identically like paying your Mastercard bill with your Visa card- sooner or later, it will be time to use real money to clear the debts.  Sadly, our government has yet to realize that simple fact.

As of this date, the trillions of dollars poured into the “recovery” has resulted in little if any improvement in the economy. Bailouts simply do not work because the basic problems have not been addressed.  It seems no one in Washington wants to face the facts that there was too much debt in this nation and an economy driven by debt and not by assets. Conservatives need to face up to Pelosi and the Democrats with this fact and make their voices heard loudly. Whether we like it or not, the continued failures of the TARP plan, the debacle with “toxic” mortgage loans, and the auto bailouts have resulted in only one thing- a deeper recession with little or no movement toward recovery.

Conservative principles work. A free market economy works. Government interference fails every time. When you look back on the history of greater government control over the economy in any place you care to look worldwide, you find that the nations that exhibit little if any free market economic principles are always facing extreme inflation, low wages, and a constant state of recession/depression. Free markets weed out the weak and allow the strength of good, sound business principles to work. You stimulate an economy by getting government off the back of our business and industry with lower taxes, less regulation to dictate what can be made or done, and less dictates on how to run that business.

These next 2 years are going to be fun to watch as the grabs for power and control reach a fevored pitch. As the failures continue and the further collapse of this economy continues, Conservatives are going to be positioned to return this nation to prosperity by promoting the private sector and making the less government ideas work. Lets face reality and look simply at the disasters looming in Social Security and Medicare and ask a simple question:

“Do you want the same idiots who have made a mess of these Government programs running your business?”

If you answered “no”, then what makes you believe that the Messiah Obama and the Queen Pelosi are going to make things all better with the same proven failed ideas that have been tried time and time again only to lead to the same results of failure? It’s time for Conservatism, as opposed to Republicanism, to be put once again in the forefront of our nations leadership.

More and more scientists are actually looking at the “climate models” and have figured out the scam being promoted. Falling global temperatures, increased polar ice, and the latest data from the Russian researchers all point to an impending “Ice Age” approaching. Wonder how long Obama will promote the lie?

Back when I was in high school, I had one of the greatest science teachers in the entire world. Alyse Cooper actually made you think and to also prove or disprove your thoughts or the thoughts of others. It involved actually putting a “theory” to the test in real life. If the prediction happened, it was proven true and conversely, if real life didn’t support the theorem, it was proven false. This one simple fact is why the computer models that predict “anthropogenic global warming”, when taken to the real world tests, are failures and our politicians are relying on bad science to promote their issues.

Michael R. Fox Ph.D., has published a real life, common sense report on these failures and when the actual evidence is studied, totally shows the scam involved in AGW proponents. In his report in the Hawaii Reporter he makes a very good point about the proper way to do research:

”In general, we look for a new law by the following process. First, we guess it. Then we compute the consequences of the guess to see what would be implied if this law that we guessed is right. Then we compare the result of the computation to nature, with experiment or experience; compare it directly with observation to see if it works. If it disagrees with experiment it is wrong. It’s that simple statement that is the key to science. It does not make any difference how beautiful your guess is. It does not make any difference how smart you are, who made the guess, or what his name is—if it disagrees with experiment (observation) it is wrong.” – Dr. Richard Feynman, “The Character of Natural Law”, the MIT Press, 1965, p. 156.

He points out that when you look at the data from the late 1800′s, you find periods of cooling and warming that have little, if any, direct correlation to CO2 (man-made) and temperatures. As oceans warm, the amount of CO2 released is billions of tons greater than any man-made contribution could ever be. Additionally, he points out that when you discount 95% of the main “greenhouse gas”, water vapor, 97% of the naturally occurring CO2, and the effect of the Sun on climate, you haven’t proven anything OTHER than you have bad science being promoted by politicians as “gospel truth”.

Then we move to the next article that reveals what the Russians know as being fact regarding AWG. The Vostok ice cores represent some of the oldest ice core samples ever taken from the Earth. Because of their age, the conclusions being drawn do not support the hypothesis of AWG being the cause of any warming or cooling of the earth. Instead, they point to some very simple facts that every 12,000 years, the earth enters a period of global cooling that lasts for 110,000 years. We are currently in an interglacial period (warm phase) that has lasted for well over 16,000 years from the last major Ice Age and the resulting “dawn of man”. Basically, we are 4,000 years past due to enter another serious cooling period and measurements around the globe are supporting the fact they we indeed are entering another prolonged Ice Age. The article at NewsBusters tells the entire story which I find this interesting conclusion:

The Vostok ice core data graph reveals that global CO2 levels regularly rose and fell in a direct response to the natural cycle of Ice Age minimums and maximums during the past four hundred and twenty thousand years. Within that natural cycle, about every 110,000 years global temperatures, followed by global CO2 levels, have peaked at approximately the same levels which they are at today.

Once again, we as Americans are being manipulated by our own media. Are we finding these articles being published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, or any number of Socialist/Liberal media outlets?. Not on your life as they don’t support the POLITICAL agenda of the Liberal Left. AWG is being used to manipulate our energy sources, taxes, building of new power plants that use “fossil fuels”, and will ultimately lead to total control of the population of this nation as this nonsense continues to be proposed based on VERY BAD SCIENCE.

You are going to discover, very shortly, that our President Elect, Barrack Obama is the major cheerleader of this scam. He is still trying to discover the “best way” to fight AWG when the reality is, IT DOESN’T EXIST. According to the scientific evidence, our soon to be President had instead, better be looking at ways to further the production of our own energy resources, finding means to provide livable homes to mankind, and figuring out what he will do with the millions of displaced people in the northern regions of this nation as the “global cooling” and the expansion of the glaciers happens over time causing uninhabitable regions of this nation.

But then again, what can you expect from the Socialist/Liberals who desire control of this nation without regard to scientific facts. I guess it’s true: Facts don’t matter if your are a Liberal, only the “intent” is what counts.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D. Ill.) has been arrested for attempting to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President Elect Obama to “the highest bidder”. No doubt, when it comes to Chicago politics, saving one’s own neck will come first. Is Obama the next to go down before the Inauguration?

Phillip Berg’s lawsuit is still on appeal to the Supreme Court. His Writ of Certiorari has yet to be ruled on by the Court, and Berg has since filed a request for and Injunction to stay the meeting of the Electoral College until such time the SCOTUS determines if it will hear the Berg case. In all of this, it may not make much difference since U. S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald is playing the Obama role very close to his vest.

The Blagojevich arrest really comes as no surprise to me. I am sure that Tony Rezko had a role in tipping the U.S. Attorney about what Blagojevich was capable of doing and perhaps had done in the past. It is exactly the way Illinois politics, and particularly Chicago politics has be run for decades. If you have the money to play, then the political machine is willing to deal. This has been true of government contracts, pension and retirement funds for public employees, and many other forms of doing “business” with the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago for many, many years. The Chicago Political Machine was more responsible for the election of John F. Kennedy than any other voting block in the 1960 election from the Daley years, so this type of politics is almost common place in that state and city.

The real revealing statement came today from Barrack Obama himself:

Like the rest of the people of Illinois I am saddened and sobered by the news that came out of the U.S. attorney’s office today. But as this is an ongoing investigation involving the govenor, I don’t think it would be appropriate for me to comment on the issue at this time.

Now, if this “on-going” investigation leads far deeper and even farther wide, why is Obama circling the wagons at this early juncture if he has NOTHING to hide? Even his top advisor, David Axelrod had this to say earlier this week :

I know he’s talked to the governor, and there are a whole range of names, many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them.

Now the Obama camp is denying that Obama has spoken to Blagojevich and that Axelrod “mis-spoke”. This is almost certain to lead directly to favors being dealt in return for a desired Obama appointment, or other favors to Gov. Blagojevich for his “favorable” appointment of the next U. S. Senator from Illinois. In the original indictment, Blagojevich has been recorded, and the excerpt below, from The Smoking Gun site, spells out that Obama most likely had direct contact with Blagojevich or one of his advisers:

During a wiretapped November 10 call, a frustrated and financially strapped Blagojevich referred to Obama as a “motherf**ker” and said that he would not appoint an ally of the President-elect to the Senate vacancy if “I don’t get anything.” Referring to Obama, Blagojevich exclaimed, “F**k him. For nothing? F**k him.” In a November 11 conversation, Blagojevich remarked that he knew Obama wanted Valerie Jarrett, a longtime confidante, to succeed him, “but they’re not willing to give me anything except appreciation. F**k them.

Where is all this going to lead? Speculation is far ranging and very likely is  going to lead directly to the new President Elect. Truth of the matter is, Barrack Obama may never get to take the Oath of Office once the U. S. Attorney Fitzgerald finally closes this investigation. If there is one thing that Fitzgerald is, it is that he is a relentless prosecutor and investigator. He will not rest until every guilty party has been exposed and arrested.

Sadly, “we” tried to warn the American people LONG before they cast their votes in November that Barrack Obama and his associations were more crooked than a barrel of fish hooks. I guess now, those “chickens comin’ home to roost” for Obama and his allies. All to soon, we are going to be counting a lot more “chickens” than we had “eggs”. That unproduced birth certificate might not matter after all, if Obama is sitting in the Federal penitentiary for bribery or attempted bribery to “sell” his vacated Senate seat as a favor to Blagojevich for personal gain.
