The Seasoned Politician Just Gave Obama a Lesson in Dealing with “Messiah-ism”

Friday, August 29th, 2008

With Sarah Palin as his V.P pick, Sen. McCain showed he still knows a thing or two about how to play hardball. The Obama camp didn’t see this coming and now they are scrambling for answers to this remarkable woman, mother, wife, and politician.

Without a doubt, Sen. McCain not only used a stroke of genius, he simply outmaneuvered the Obama campaign once again. Sarah Palin is going to be on the lips of nearly every single American all weekend as the Republican Convention begins the first of the week. People are going to be reading about Gov. Palin and where she came from, where she has been, and the trip she is embarking upon.

People are going to like what they see.

As a mother, a grocery buyer, a fisherman, a hunter, and more and more that I won’t list, people can relate to her. She isn’t aloof nor is she above the fray. When it comes to politics, her heart is with the people she represents. That has been evident from her first venture into politics. She took real conservative values and turned them into a goldmine- not for Sarah Palin, but for the citizens of the State of Alaska. (more…)

Democrat Files Suit Questioning Obama Citizenship

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

Phillip Berg, Democrat and former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania has filed suit questioning Obama’s citizenship. If successful, the Obama Camp has issues.

It will be interesting to see if this lawsuit gets any legs, however, it is appearing that this may actually force the Obama camp to take some real action to salvage their candidate. Here is the basic information of the suit, apparently filed August 21, 2008 and heard briefly today.

Philip J. Berg, Esquire stated in his lawsuit that Senator Obama:

1. Is not a naturalized citizen; and/or

2. Lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia; and/or

3. Has dual loyalties because of his citizenship with Kenya and Indonesia.

Further questions that are being requested for answers are: (more…)

Obama Camp Showing it’s “Saddle sores”

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

The latest Reuters/Zogby poll shows McCain has taken a 5 point lead among likely voters. Is the Obama campaign losing it’s shiny luster after the Saddleback debacle?

Whether you believe it or not, the Saddleback Forum is possibly the turning point of this Presidential Campaign. Many in the main stream media and the blogosphere have done everything they can possibly do to discredit the McCain showing, however, none of it is working. Simply put, Obama came across as a bumbling, stumbling, blatherskite whom people are beginning to wonder about his leadership ability. It doesn’t matter if you agreed with everything McCain said, disagree with what Obama said, or even vice-versa, Obama came across as someone who isn’t fit to lead a herd of goats, much less this nation.

When you look at Sen. Obama in depth, you find some interesting things.  J.R. Dunn at the American Thinker has gone so far as to describe Sen. Obama as a “flake” in his last article. As you read the definition, you fast discover that it fits precisely:

A flake is a “fool with energy”, as the Russian proverb puts it. (“A fool is a terrible thing to have around, but a fool with energy is a nightmare”.) (more…)
