Obama Wants Americans to Ignore His Character

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

When past associations reflect the content of one’s character, America stands to lose.

Dr. Martin Luther King believed that man would be far better served to build quality in their character to achieve racial blindness of this nation. He spoke strongly and deeply for men to be judged according to the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. It is easy to see that very quality in children. They are simply color-blind and have no idea what it means to be white, black, Hispanic, or any number of words used to describe ones heritage. They will play together for hours on end and you will never hear a peep regarding color or belief in any racial ideals or separations.

To me personally, I don’t consider my race to be either an advantage or disadvantage to living in this nation. The trials and tribulations with living each day are present with all people, no matter their race. Few daily living issues are a separation point among people as we each face many if not all of the same needs. We each need to earn income, drive to work, buy groceries, clothe our families and self, and just do the things normal, everyday people do. No matter the color of the skin, humans are humans and the basic needs never change.

Those daily issues, and the way we approach them, builds the character within. Those who approach them with a desire to be the best they can be will build a strong and unwavering set of core values of morality, love of nation, love of man, and develop interpersonal relationships with other people that reflects those good qualities and beliefs. No one has to ever tell you that your beliefs are good and worthy as they are a direct reflection of the actions you take and the people you associate with, not the words you speak. (more…)

Why Liberalism Fosters Racism in America

Tuesday, May 27th, 2008

Many who read this article will assume that I tend to be racist since I embrace Conservative principles. However the reality is pretty simple; I believe in Conservative principles and when applied universally, those principles are good for the entire good of all mankind. I believe that racism is generated directly by Liberals and Socialists in an effort to undermine the empowerment of all people in this nation. Their need to control the nation is evident from many of the programs that they have created in an effort to balance the equity of this nation.

There is an old adage that if you feed a man a fish for a day, you feed him forever. However, if you TEACH a man to fish, you have taught him to feed himself forever. Within that little saying lies the entire foundation of Conservatism. I honestly believe that once you have taught all you can, led in a direction of moral success, ushered in an era of thought and perspective, you have laid the foundation for any race, creed, sex, or ethnic origin, that no matter the circumstances they may be in, they have the ability to achieve. That does not place anyone in any “class of persons” but eliminates the entire need for them. Life no longer becomes a challenge to any race nor does it discriminate against any race. Instead it becomes a nation in which race isn’t the issue for expansion of government programs, but rather is the issue to reduce the size and scope of government. (more…)

The Politics of Race and Racism

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Someone once told me that I should avoid certain subjects like the plague since I was a total Conservative. One of those issues was race and racism in this country. No matter how you slice it, it seems that most Conservatives come up on the short end when it comes to addressing the issue, and I really wondered why. Then I soon discovered that approaching the subject head on was just more fodder for those who make claim that “you are a racist”.

However controversial the issue may be, this is one subject I find reprehensible in the fact I MAY be accused of being racist simple because I choose to broach the issue with thoughts I may have. I am sure that many may read and some may comment, yet I choose to make known WHO I think the real racists are and why they are as such. Not an easy or simple task to approach, yet I know that with a bit of common sense, agreement on the issue can result (more…)
