With the April 15th Tax Day Tea Party over and many clamoring for more, where does this take us for the next few months as July 4th is just around the corner. Enthusiasm doesn’t need to wane and our voices need not become silenced. Now is the time for individual leadership to step forward and become the movement we all envision.

Many of my readers attended one of the many April 15th Tea Parties. The fact is, we all came away with a feeling of enthusiasm and a feeling of empowerment, only a week later to see that nothing really changed. That, in and of itself, needs to be the motivation behind “our” desire to once again, get out the people and renew the commitment to the “Tea Party Movement” that is taking hold in this nation.

First, I think we can all agree on a few things. This “movement” sprouted from the fact that we each feel that our government has gotten out of total control on several fronts. In examining the various posts and articles from others, I have discovered that there are a few basic themes that run through each and every post:

1. Government spending and budgetary policy to increase the deficits and the national debt are not acceptable practices for our nations government. OUR government has grown beyond the capacity of its original intent as designed by our founders.
2. Our government has taken approaches to policy in areas of energy, health care, and reducing personal liberty that we do not agree with.
3. We as a nation have a tax system that punishes the success and hard work of it’s people and is in need of massive reform.
4. The taxes and costs of goods and services will increase dramatically if we continue down the destructive path our government is taking us.

Debt Would Double Under Obama Plan

I could easily add a #5, but I think that it is given that our nations elected representatives are not listening to the people and our desires to reduce the spending. Under the current path this Congress and administration is taking us, we are being told that it is the intent to “reduce the deficit” by 1/2 in the next 5 years. What we are being lead to believe is that is a good thing, when the reality is, we are going to increase the national debt by massive amounts and in such levels that the interest payments alone will consume the tax revenue taken in by the government in a few short years. We are being taken down a primrose path when we are dealt a “budget reduction of $100 million” by the administration that amounts to .028% of the entire Federal budget for this year. Somehow, I guess, that our government really thinks we are going to accept that and move on. Nothing is farther from the truth. A look at the chart from the Heritage Foundation puts the entire debt in perspective. Our national debt will be nearly the entire GDP of this nation today in 10 years. That simply means, that what we are producing today, is going to be needed to eliminate the debt and doesn’t count  the expenditures of any budget that is passed.

Our nation is at a crossroads regarding energy. Currently, many on capital hill have been lead to believe that we, the human race, are responsible for the massive fraud called “climate change” and that our “carbon emissions” of CO2 is somehow to blame. No longer is any dissenting scientific debate allowed and no longer, in the minds of politicians, is there any objections going to be condoned. No longer is this a scientific issue, but a political one and one based on very bad science. In the hearings this past Friday, former Vice President Gore, testified before the House committee drafting legislation to cap carbon emissions. His opposition, Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science adviser to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was not allowed to testify. According to reports from Climate Depot:

A GOP House source told Climate Depot that the Democrats on the Committee said “absolutely not” to allowing Monckton to appear during today’s Gore hearing. The GOP committee “pushed at multiple levels” to bring Monckton in to testify but the Democrats “refused,” according to the GOP source. Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich was called in to testify after Monckton was rejected by the committee Democrats, according to the Congressional source.

It seems very obvious that this Committee isn’t interested in hearing any views that the scientific evidence doesn’t support the politics being pushed through Congress. The costs to you, the consumer, is expected to reach nearly $2,000 a year in the price increases of groceries, fuel, electricity, and any other items you might use or purchase. Basically, this SCAM is nothing but another way of forcing you to comply with government desires and increasing the government coffers and the resulting expenditures. No longer is climate change a scientific issue, but has become the political pumpkin that is not going to bring Cinderella to the ball, nor bring about energy independence, but bring an ever increasing interference and control by government into our lives. The resulting loss of jobs and the no-replacements offered in the “green industry” hasn’t even been discussed, but it will be in the millions. Once again, another effort by government to level even more control over your life and liberty as this lie is pushed through Congress.

If you haven’t been following the health care debate, trust me, you are going to very soon. The simple fact is, that this nation stands to move toward a nationalized health care system in which government will run, fund, and provide your needs. In previous articles I have addressed the health care debate through Health Saving Accounts and elimination of the multitude of mandated coverage, provisions that would allow the purchase of health care policies across state lines, and other free market solutions. Eliminating government from the equation is vital to the survival of this nation as the budgetary costs alone will account for well over 7% of GDP of this nation to fund, as it does now. Governments only solution to eliminating the expenses is to reduce benefits, rationing, or basically, forgetting those with long term care needs in primarily our aging population. As an American citizen, I find the government solution totally unacceptable to the foundation of liberty and freedom. One only needs to look to other nations to determine that this solution is destined to be the debacle it is elsewhere it is being used.

Obviously, taxation in this nation is abhorrent to our private citizens, our businesses, and corporations. We as a nation shoulder the entire burden of governments- local, state, and federal. It is estimated that roughly 50% of middle class incomes (and I hate that term as it classifies people based on the very notions Liberals use to dictate their agenda driven policies of wealth redistribution) is needed to fund government at all levels. Our system is easily manipulated by politicians to favor a sector or group of people to repay political favors, discourages financial achievement, and punishes those who do desire to increase their financial prospects. Furthermore, it takes income from those who work and earn it, redistributes it to those who won’t or don’t, and those on the receiving end never make a single dimes worth of contribution to the very system they often live from.

There must be radical and decisive changes to our tax system. I spare no words in my support for the FairTax as it fixes the very problems with our current income taxation system. It gives us choice as to paying taxes by our spending habits, it brings everyone into the system, and eliminates the ability for politicians to manipulate the system for political favors or constituents. Needless to say, the political climate in Washington is adverse to this now, but unless we take this under advisement and actually push Congress to pass this legislation, we are going to find our current system more than burdensome, but leaving us with less and less to simply survive the very life we live today. Additionally, those “evil rich people” will no longer be able to provide the increasing amounts needed to fund the increasing numbers of people being dependent on government for an existence. The very tenets of Marxism required a progressive income tax and that in and of itself is the means to Socialism/Fascism in this nation. It will force government takeover of all business and industry to provide the means to peoples needs being fulfilled by government.  We as a nation are heading straight down that slippery slope and accelerating as we go. Now is the time to end this insanity and only a massing of people in this Tea Party movement will garner Congress to seriously pass this mandate.

These issues alone needs to be the focus of the Tea Party movement. It will take a grassroots effort to bring about the change we really need and really can believe will happen in this nation. These four issues alone should not only concern you, but galvanize you to not just appear at the next one, but become active in finding others, volunteering for organization, writing your Congressmen/women constantly, and making known that we are simply not going to sit still as America is taken down this path leading to destruction. It is even more obvious that we are not being taken seriously in Washington, by the main stream media, nor by those on the left. Appeasement isn’t going to work and our voice stating as such needs to be louder and louder.

It’s time to tell Washington, we are NOT STUPID! It’s time to bring the government of the people, by the people, and for the people back to it’s basic Constitutional roots or we as a nation face extinction. I, personally, do not care to go the way of the Dodo bird. It’s time to become even more excited and more determined to work this Tea Party movement into a force that can no longer be ignored or fought. This time, rather than dumping “tea” in the harbor in protest, it’s time to dump the politicians who refuse to listen.

Is it time to take our Grievances to Congress?? Only YOU can decide. Take a moment and read the Petition for a Redress of Grievances. When you take that simple action and sign it, you are taking a stand against bigger government, more spending, and unfair taxation. Only with your support will this be a reality. THEN tell others as the voices of a few can turn into the collective voice of many more with the same concerns. I thank you in advance for your efforts and help.

Breaking: O’Reilly reports that General Electric in the position to make billions from Obama’s Cap and Trade scheme and is lobbying heavily for it’s passage. Not only are they the largest wind turbine generator maker, they are going to profit heavily from the “cap and trade” credits as possibly the sole “secoindary market’ trader of these credits. Now do you understand the main stream NBC, MSNBC, CNBC fully supporting the Obama agenda, and the hate-filled, anti-conservative spew from their networks.

On tonights “The Factor”, O’Reilly reported that GE is embroiled in what perhaps could be the largest scandal in the history of this nation. Currently, GE and CEO Jeffery Immelt have spend millions in lobbying efforts to assure the passage of this dasturdly “cap and trade” proposal. And, as evidenced from the Shareholders meeting in Orlando, Immelt wasn’t in the mood for the boo’s and the questions that exposed the media bias from NBC and MSNBC (and CNBC) and their total shift from objective reporting to nothing but pure bias toward the Obama administration and their “cap and trade” scheme.

Then Janeine Garafalo did her “hit shtick” on Olberman’s show earlier in the week, it was obvious that his entire lack of response to her diatribe was in full support of GE corporate policy and Olberman was being the compliant little prick he is and following the company line. It is OBVIOUS as the nose on anyone’s face that the NBC networks, that includes MSNBC and CNBC are totally pro-Obama agenda driven, and are using the bully pulpit to promote his legislative proposals. In the back of my mind, I knew deep down that General Electric, as owner of the NBC network,  was fully supporting Obama, was instrumental in his election, and had something to gain. However, I never quiet made the connection as reported tonight.

Under the Obama plan, the “cap and trade” credits will be issued to all producers of energy. GE is the largest manufacturer of wind turbines as well as other electical generation turbines used in coal, gas, atomic, and hydroelectic electricity generation facilities. With the Obama plan, those cap and trade credits would be issued by the Federal Government, and ultimately, traded just like any stock or bond. GE has apparently, created and entire unit with the Corporation that would deal in the Secondary Market trading these credits. First, they are going to take in billions of dollars from government contracts in wind energy. Second, they perhaps are going to have exclusive control over the secondary market for these cap and trade credits. That, in effect, puts GE in the catbirds seat for all energy produced in this nation as ALL “carbon emission” energy sourced are going to be subject to these carbon schemes. This includes ANY oil related, natural gas related, gasoline, diesel, and any other manufacturer that uses any petro-based  component. That means every single plastic container, every car, every chemical fertilizer, every pesticide, every single thing you use will be subject to this scheme as it too, is made from a carbon based material.

It’s no wonder GE is defensive, however. As Tom’s pointed questions, and Bill O’Reilly’s comments tonight on the Glenn Beck TV show (“We’re in an area right now that makes Watergate look like a Shirley Temple movie.”) illustrate, the best that can be said about General Electric is that it is hip deep in conflict of interest. It’s running TV networks that prop up liberalism, the global warming issue and Obama, while privately lobbying hard for cap-and-trade, from which it intends to profit heavily.

There can be no doubt that GE is up to it’s neck in this scandal. It is further evidence that WE THE PEOPLE of this nation are going to have to quit sitting still and allowing this huge, overblown government from dealing with GE for any contracts awarded to them for anything. Face some realities- GE is one of the governments largest contractors and they are going to get billions and billions more under the Obama plans should they become law. This, with no words minced, is an OUTRAGE to the foundation of this nations Constitutional government. Additionally, GE employees contributed to Obama’s campaign, close to $98,000 while NBC employees contributed close to $194,000. (For reference, the McCain camp only received donations close to $55,000 from GE/NBC employees according to OpenSecrets.org) They heavily invested in his election and the desire for his climate change initiatives to become law for a very selfish reason- massive profits.

There can be no doubt that the very reason NBC, MSNBC, and the MSM is fully supporting the “settled science” on climate change is GE profit driven. They stand to make BILLIONS from the promotion of the scam on the American people and the world. It is also no wonder that they fail to report the empirical data studies that are refuting the idea that CO2 is the evil climate change culprit. It is no wonder that GE is spending the millions in lobbying efforts for support of the legislation that makes CO2 an evil thing that only they can resolve. This collusion of GE and the United States government is heading down the road as the largest scandal in American history. If you aren’t outraged now, then please, find another Socialist nation to live in. I don’t plan to go down without a fight.

Now, more than ever, your help is needed. In the upper right navigation bar is a link to a Petition for Redress of Grievances. Now is the time to sign it, and to support this grassroots effort to let Congress know that we are not happy with this massive expansion of government and that “WE THE PEOPLE” are going to take back our nation from the GE’s and the scandalous lobbying for government deals gone out of control. Unless you do something, then nothing is going to happen. Your voice matters and it’s not necessarily at the ballot box either. Our founders understood that and gave  us that right in our Bill of Rights. Don’t sit on the side lines and let this nation be over-ran by the Socialist/Statists/Fascists in power. It’s time to take action now since to do otherwise is going to cost you, your family, and your kids and grandchildren for the rest of their lives.

I wonder, since it appears that Al Gore is going to be cut out of this deal, will he NOW release new information that reports “global cooling” is NOW the greatest threat to the world? I imagine that he will very soon. Money talks in Washington as the American people are getting the screwing they elected in November. Now, once again, I told you so.

More and more scientists are actually looking at the “climate models” and have figured out the scam being promoted. Falling global temperatures, increased polar ice, and the latest data from the Russian researchers all point to an impending “Ice Age” approaching. Wonder how long Obama will promote the lie?

Back when I was in high school, I had one of the greatest science teachers in the entire world. Alyse Cooper actually made you think and to also prove or disprove your thoughts or the thoughts of others. It involved actually putting a “theory” to the test in real life. If the prediction happened, it was proven true and conversely, if real life didn’t support the theorem, it was proven false. This one simple fact is why the computer models that predict “anthropogenic global warming”, when taken to the real world tests, are failures and our politicians are relying on bad science to promote their issues.

Michael R. Fox Ph.D., has published a real life, common sense report on these failures and when the actual evidence is studied, totally shows the scam involved in AGW proponents. In his report in the Hawaii Reporter he makes a very good point about the proper way to do research:

”In general, we look for a new law by the following process. First, we guess it. Then we compute the consequences of the guess to see what would be implied if this law that we guessed is right. Then we compare the result of the computation to nature, with experiment or experience; compare it directly with observation to see if it works. If it disagrees with experiment it is wrong. It’s that simple statement that is the key to science. It does not make any difference how beautiful your guess is. It does not make any difference how smart you are, who made the guess, or what his name is—if it disagrees with experiment (observation) it is wrong.” – Dr. Richard Feynman, “The Character of Natural Law”, the MIT Press, 1965, p. 156.

He points out that when you look at the data from the late 1800′s, you find periods of cooling and warming that have little, if any, direct correlation to CO2 (man-made) and temperatures. As oceans warm, the amount of CO2 released is billions of tons greater than any man-made contribution could ever be. Additionally, he points out that when you discount 95% of the main “greenhouse gas”, water vapor, 97% of the naturally occurring CO2, and the effect of the Sun on climate, you haven’t proven anything OTHER than you have bad science being promoted by politicians as “gospel truth”.

Then we move to the next article that reveals what the Russians know as being fact regarding AWG. The Vostok ice cores represent some of the oldest ice core samples ever taken from the Earth. Because of their age, the conclusions being drawn do not support the hypothesis of AWG being the cause of any warming or cooling of the earth. Instead, they point to some very simple facts that every 12,000 years, the earth enters a period of global cooling that lasts for 110,000 years. We are currently in an interglacial period (warm phase) that has lasted for well over 16,000 years from the last major Ice Age and the resulting “dawn of man”. Basically, we are 4,000 years past due to enter another serious cooling period and measurements around the globe are supporting the fact they we indeed are entering another prolonged Ice Age. The article at NewsBusters tells the entire story which I find this interesting conclusion:

The Vostok ice core data graph reveals that global CO2 levels regularly rose and fell in a direct response to the natural cycle of Ice Age minimums and maximums during the past four hundred and twenty thousand years. Within that natural cycle, about every 110,000 years global temperatures, followed by global CO2 levels, have peaked at approximately the same levels which they are at today.

Once again, we as Americans are being manipulated by our own media. Are we finding these articles being published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, or any number of Socialist/Liberal media outlets?. Not on your life as they don’t support the POLITICAL agenda of the Liberal Left. AWG is being used to manipulate our energy sources, taxes, building of new power plants that use “fossil fuels”, and will ultimately lead to total control of the population of this nation as this nonsense continues to be proposed based on VERY BAD SCIENCE.

You are going to discover, very shortly, that our President Elect, Barrack Obama is the major cheerleader of this scam. He is still trying to discover the “best way” to fight AWG when the reality is, IT DOESN’T EXIST. According to the scientific evidence, our soon to be President had instead, better be looking at ways to further the production of our own energy resources, finding means to provide livable homes to mankind, and figuring out what he will do with the millions of displaced people in the northern regions of this nation as the “global cooling” and the expansion of the glaciers happens over time causing uninhabitable regions of this nation.

But then again, what can you expect from the Socialist/Liberals who desire control of this nation without regard to scientific facts. I guess it’s true: Facts don’t matter if your are a Liberal, only the “intent” is what counts.
